Grade Release Pre-Announcement

The Board of Law Examiners expects to release results for the July 2011 Texas Bar Examination on Friday, November 4, 2011. An exact time for the release of grades cannot be predicted.  Do NOT contact our office to inquire if results will be released early.

Excluding any unforeseen technical difficulties, once grades are released, a link to the pass list will be prominently displayed at the Board's home page:  www.ble.state.tx.us. The examinee number will be printed beside the name of the examinee for use as a second identifier.

Results will also be available on the grade release date by calling (512) 463-1621. However, if you are calling only to inquire about exam results, please do not call this number before Friday, November 4, 2011. General questions may be answered by referring to the Board's Grade Release FAQ's.  The new lawyers' induction ceremony is to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011.

Fax any address change immediately to our office. Address changes received after October 28, 2011 may not be processed by the grade release date. The Board's fax number is 512-463-5300.

Likewise, written requests for name changes must be received by October 28, 2011.  If the spelling or any portion of your name is incorrect, you must contact our office immediately.  Otherwise, you may be charged for the reproduction of a duplicate law license at the time of licensing.

Special Notice: If an examinee is unsuccessful on the July exam, pursuant to Rule IX(f), he or she must submit a Re-Application form, filing fees and a current photo to take the February 2012 Exam. The deadline for these examinees to reapply for the February 2012 Exam is Wednesday, November 30, 2011.
